ME IN A NUT-SHELL
Iβm a creative, coffee lover, gamer, educator, explorer, cool uncle, and husband.
My path wasnβt straight and narrowβitβs been full of twists, turns, and growth. From IT Officer to Web Developer to 3D Artist, it's been a journey. But letβs start at the beginning.
Creativity has always been at my core. Raised by my mother in a small town in South Wales, we didnβt have much β but a new sketch pad from the local pound shop always got me excited. As a young boy Iβd spend hours drawing characters from my favourite shows and dreaming up new worlds.
Despite my love for art, at the time I didnβt believe I was good enough to pursue it seriously, so as I got older and education choices loomed, I choose to study Software Engineering. Working in IT eventually led me to web developmentβa space where logic met creativity. I taught myself everything I could, landed a job as a developer, and gained valuable experience. But I soon realised I needed more creative freedom.
Thatβs when I discovered Blenderβand everything changed. 3D art combined everything I loved: design, storytelling, and technology. I became obsessed (still am), pouring countless hours into learning, experimenting and trying the latest tech.
What began as a passion quickly turned into a full-time career. I transitioned from web developer to 3D character artist, built a thriving online presence through YouTube, and became an educator helping thousands of aspiring artists grow their skills.
Today, I collaborate with amazing clients, create characters that bring stories to life, and share my knowledge with a global community. I'm always learningβexploring Unity for game development and tapping into the power of virtual production with Unreal Engine.
Itβs an incredible time to be a creator, and Iβm grateful to be on this journey.
