ME IN A NUT-SHELL

I’m a creative, coffee lover, gamer, educator, explorer, cool uncle, and husband.

Person sitting at a table with drinks and a vase with red roses.

My path wasn’t straight and narrowβ€”it’s been full of twists, turns, and growth. From IT Officer to Web Developer to 3D Artist, it's been a journey. But let’s start at the beginning.

Creativity has always been at my core. Raised by my mother in a small town in South Wales, we didn’t have much β€” but a new sketch pad from the local pound shop always got me excited. As a young boy I’d spend hours drawing characters from my favourite shows and dreaming up new worlds.

Despite my love for art, at the time I didn’t believe I was good enough to pursue it seriously, so as I got older and education choices loomed, I choose to study Software Engineering. Working in IT eventually led me to web developmentβ€”a space where logic met creativity. I taught myself everything I could, landed a job as a developer, and gained valuable experience. But I soon realised I needed more creative freedom.

That’s when I discovered Blenderβ€”and everything changed. 3D art combined everything I loved: design, storytelling, and technology. I became obsessed (still am), pouring countless hours into learning, experimenting and trying the latest tech.

What began as a passion quickly turned into a full-time career. I transitioned from web developer to 3D character artist, built a thriving online presence through YouTube, and became an educator helping thousands of aspiring artists grow their skills.

Today, I collaborate with amazing clients, create characters that bring stories to life, and share my knowledge with a global community. I'm always learningβ€”exploring Unity for game development and tapping into the power of virtual production with Unreal Engine.

It’s an incredible time to be a creator, and I’m grateful to be on this journey.
